Sharifa Patel

Sharifa Patel is a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Islamic Studies’ Structural Islamophobia Research Lab at the University of Toronto. Her research project focuses on the experiences of Muslim families and children with the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies. Her broader research examines the effects of Canadian policies on Muslim families in Canada.
