In Memoriam: Ken Dryden

Beyond his legendary hockey career, Mr. Dryden was committed to improving the lives of others throughout his life. He was a lawyer, a teacher, a writer, a politician, and an activist. From May 2002 until his election as a Member of Parliament in 2004, he served on the Board of Directors of the Vanier Institute of the Family.

He brought a concern for family wellbeing to all his endeavours, including his early advocacy for a national childcare program. We are grateful for his contributions and extend our deepest sympathies to the Dryden family and all of those affected by his passing.
