On March 27 and 28, 2019, the University of Victoria will be hosting a satellite event for the Families in Canada Conference 2019!

In addition to the National Conference being held at the Infinity Convention Centre in Ottawa, our university partners across the country will also be hosting satellite events. This pan-Canadian approach extends the reach of the Families in Canada Conference 2019: panel discussions from the National Conference will be livestreamed to the satellite events, which will also provide local programming on-site that focuses on topics of interest to their specific region and/or communities.

Formally established at the University of Victoria in 2002, the Centre for Youth and Society designs and conducts research anchored by collaborative partnerships with local, national and international youth-serving and youth-led organizations. Faculty Research Fellows of the Centre are scholars from diverse faculties united by their interest in contributing to the well-being of youth through research and program evaluation impact.
