On March 27 and 28, 2019, the Werklund School of Education at the University of Calgary will be hosting a satellite event for the Families in Canada Conference 2019!

In addition to the National Conference being held at the Infinity Convention Centre in Ottawa, our university partners across the country will also be hosting satellite events. This pan-Canadian approach extends the reach of the Families in Canada Conference 2019: panel discussions from the National Conference will be livestreamed to the satellite events, which will also provide local programming on-site that focuses on topics of interest to their specific region and/or communities.

The Werklund School of Education runs Undergraduate (Education) and Graduate (Educational Psychology) programs in Counselling Psychology and School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of Calgary. It is also home to the Social Development Research Team (SDRT), which generates quality Canadian research on multiple aspects of social development across the lifespan.
