Rob Shea, EdD (Committee Chair)

Rob Shea, EdD, is Associate Vice-President (Academic), and an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education, Memorial University of Newfoundland. He has degrees in political science, social work and education, including a doctorate in higher education leadership, and is author and co-author of a variety of journal articles, book chapters and texts. His career has taken him from the front lines of social work and teaching to the boardrooms of national and international non-profits.

Rob has served as president of numerous provincial, national and international organizations, including the Canadian Education and Research Institute for Counselling (CERIC), the Newfoundland and Labrador Parkinson Society, the Canadian Society for the Study of Higher Education and the International Association Student Affairs and Services.
