Norma Tombari

As principal of NT Consulting, Norma Tombari offers advisory and consulting services in HR policy; talent management; diversity, equity and inclusion strategies; employee engagement and learning; and inclusive leadership coaching. She was previously Senior Director, Global Diversity & Inclusion at RBC, where she led the knowledge centre for diversity and inclusion. At RBC, Norma held a series of progressively senior roles in administration, operations, lending and human resources.

Norma is a member of the advisory committees of the Canadian Women’s Foundation Girls’ Fund and of the Centre for Families, Work and Well-Being at the University of Guelph. She is also an Emeritus Member for the Conference Board of Canada Council on Workplace Effectiveness. Norma sat on the Oxford University Steering Committee for online leadership learning for women and was a member of both the US Conference Board Council of Global Diversity and Inclusion Executives and of the Women Executive Network (WXN) Top 100 Awards Committee. She was a board member for Equitas, a Montreal-based organization focused on human rights education.

In 2012, she was a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for her many contributions to the community. In 2017, she was recognized as a Top Leader in HR and Diversity in Canada
