Marie Vaillancourt (Chair)

Marie Vaillancourt retired in 2020 after working for more than 40 years in the financial world. She first started as the outside member of the Vanier Institute’s Investment Committee in 1993, and later joined the Board, serving from 1995 to 2001, then returning in 2004 to serve for another six years. Her years of service, combined with those of her mother, have resulted in more than 30 years of dedication to the Institute by the Vaillancourt family. She served as Treasurer, acting as the financial conscience of the Institute, bringing a solid fiscal discipline to the organization’s financial affairs as well as its programming initiatives.
