Maha Fakih is currently an investment analyst at the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation, where she works with the director to manage the foundation’s portfolio and shift it toward fully responsible investments. Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, she moved to the UAE to take courses in finance at Abu Dhabi University. In 2012, Maha moved to Montreal to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Commerce, specializing in Finance and the Sustainable Investment Professional Certificate from Concordia University. Maha is currently pursuing her Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Aside from working at the Foundation, Maha is also a member of Lebanese International Finance Executives (LIFE), the CFA Montreal Society and Helem Montreal, an organization that focuses on educating and fighting homophobia in the Arab-speaking community of Montreal. Maha currently serves on the Board of Apathy is Boring, and contributed to the development of the Sustainability Ecosystem at Concordia University, where she is currently a member.
