As a member of the communications team, Gaby fosters greater public understanding of families and family experiences in Canada by sharing information and evidence-based insights in Vanier Institute publications and resources and on social media.
Since joining the Institute in 2017, she has authored and co-authored numerous articles, interviews, research recaps, fact sheets and reports, including In Conversation: Katherine Arnup on Death, Dying and Dignity During COVID-19 and Extended Parental Leave in Canada: Employer and Employee Impact and Reactions. Gaby also produces and manages the Canadian Family Policy Monitor, a searchable database that tracks federal and provincial/territorial programs, initiatives and announcements across the country.
Gaby holds a bachelor’s degree from Concordia University in Communication and Cultural Studies with a minor in Diversity and the Contemporary World.
