Marie-Andrée joined the Vanier Institute in January 2015. She is currently responsible for supporting the Vanier Institute’s CEO and the Board of Directors.
A member of the Vanier Institute’s special events team, Marie-Andrée played a significant role in the national Families in Canada Listening Tour in 2014–2015 and the Families in Canada Conference 2015. She liaises with partner organizations that sponsor speaking engagements, webinars and round tables.
Marie-Andrée looks after the well-being of the Vanier Institute and its staff, which includes managing the health and safety program.
An active member of her community, Marie-Andrée has volunteered for the United Way and the Kanata Seniors Council. She is a member of several professional associations, including the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) and the Ontario Association of Library Technicians.
Marie-Andrée lives in Ottawa with her partner and their two teenage children.
