Glenn O’Farrell joined the Vanier Institute’s Board of Directors in August 2015.
A native of Saint-Malachie, Québec, Glenn is actively involved in the Canadian media industry. Over the past 20 years, he has launched and integrated local and multi-market media businesses, served as chief media industry spokesperson before government, industry and other stakeholders, and fulfilled senior roles in a variety of media organizations.
Since 2010, Glenn has served as CEO at Groupe Média TFO, a public educational media enterprise. He has successfully led TFO through a dynamic restructuring and repositioning process, rebranding and revitalizing its content strategy while expanding its distribution channels to reach audiences in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
Glenn serves and has served on numerous boards of directors, including the boards of several private companies as well as TV5 Québec-Canada, Canal Savoir, the Canadian Association of Broadcasters, the National Theatre School of Canada/École national de théâtre du Canada and Ashbury College. He has been a member of the Quebec Bar and the Canadian Bar Association since 1983.
Glenn is married to Teri Kirk. They have two daughters, Devon and Morgan-Alexie.
